Several volunteers from Harrogate Neighbours were invited to the King's Royal Garden Party for their outstanding work.
Among the volunteers was Carl, who was the previous Acting Chair on the Board of Trustees for Harrogate Neighbours with his wife Eleanor, and Chris and Irene who have been their most longstanding volunteers for their Meals on Wheels service.
The invitation came just in time for the celebration of National Volunteer's Week.
The volunteers got to meet HRH Prince William at the garden party (pictured below).

A spokesperson for Harrogate Neighbours on Facebook said:
"Several of our volunteers were rewarded for their hard work over many years by being invited to the King's Garden Party at Buckingham Palace to meet HRH Prince William and receive royal recognition for their outstanding commitment to volunteering.
"They are all heroes at Harrogate Neighbours!
"What a great way to celebrate National Volunteer's Week 2025"
