Harrogate BID has been presented with Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce's President's Cup to recognise its contribution to the town.
Harrogate BID Chief Executive Matthew Chapman was honoured with the award at the Chamber’s AGM earlier this week.
The accolade, presented by Chamber President Phill Holdsworth, recognises “outstanding contributions to the local area and economy.”
A Harrogate BID spokesperson said:
“As the BID we work consistently hard for the good of our town through the events, campaigns and services we deliver, so we're super proud to be acknowledged with this award!”

The award follows a number of Harrogate BID initiatives in recent weeks to drive footfall to Harrogate and boost local businesses.
These include the Total Wipeout-themed ‘Mothering Funday’ and ever-popular Dog Show.
A spokesperson for Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce said:
“A truly deserved honour; thank you for all you do for our town!”
