A teacher at Grove Road Primary School has been nominated to win an ‘end of term treat’ as thanks for her hard work this year.
After hundreds of nominations, Mrs Williams was selected to receive a £50 Harrogate gift card.
It's part of our 'End of Term Treat' campaign with Harrogate BID, with five teachers set to receive the prize.
Mrs Williams is a Teaching Assistant in Litchfield Class, supporting pupils in Reception and Year 1.
After being surprised by Your Harrogate’s Nick Hancock, Mrs Williams said:
“Oh my goodness! Well that’s unexpected, thank you so much!
“Just seeing how much the children come in within a year is just amazing.
“They start off in Reception having never been to school before and we get to make a difference and that makes it all worthwhile.”
