Harrogate Music Festival is presenting 'Gigs at Gaia' this summer - a stunning series of concerts beneath Luke Jerram's illuminated Earth installation at St Wilfrid's Church.
There are six events featuring a diverse lineup, from orchestras to solo artists with a breathtaking illuminated replica of planet Earth as a backdrop.
Orchestra For The Earth opens the series on July 4 with Earth, Sea and Sky, a nature-inspired programme including Grieg’s Morning Mood and Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending.
Other highlights include West African kora player Jali Bakary Konteh (July 5), Cuban guitarist Ahmed Dickinson and vocal group The Marian Consort (July 6), organist Anthony Gray with music from Interstellar (July 7), and vibrant brass ensemble Connaught Brass (July 8).

Sharon Canavar, chief executive of Harrogate International Festivals, said:
“The ‘Gigs at Gaia’ promise to be incredible.
"Concerts in St Wilfrid’s are always memorable and with Luke Jerram’s amazing installation they promise to be even more special.
“What’s also exciting is the wide range of solo artists, ensembles and orchestras that will be performing.
"These really are going to be nights to remember!”
