An outdoor store in Harrogate is set to close after just over one year in the town.
George Fisher on Station Parade first launched in February 2024, offering ‘premium outdoor products’ for walking, climbing, hiking and watersports.
It was the company’s second store, following its initial launch in Keswick 68 years ago.
However ‘closing down sale’ signage has now appeared in the shop’s windows, with a 20% discount on everything being offered to customers.

The signage also states that the store will close "permanently" whilst thanking visitors for their custom.
The store opened in the unit formerly occupied by Blacks last year, both of which are owned by JD Sports' Outdoor division.
An official closing date has not yet been revealed.
