An event that will provide free toys and games for needy families is being held in Harrogate this weekend.
The ‘Harrogate Gives for Christmas’ Fair will be held from 2pm until 4pm on Sunday (1st December) at Jennyfields Styan Community Centre.
A wide selection of toys, games and books, which have been donated by local children, will be provided for free for families in need.
The aim is to ensure all children in the local area have gifts to open this Christmas.
Organiser Melissa Bouchard said:
“I have managed to collect quite a lot of toys, games and books from the schools around Harrogate and we have more to come this week.
“I hope that parents who need a little bit of help over Christmas can come and get some free toys for their children!”
