Drop in sessions are being made available to Knaresborough residents affected by the recent flooding.
Just under two inches of rainfall hit the town in less than an hour on Monday 6th May.
This resulted in the Nidd bursting its banks and raw sewage entering 50 houses - with some residents still yet to move back into their homes.
To aid those affected, Knaresborough’s Chain Lane Community Hub is offering Citizens Advice sessions.
The sessions will run at Chain lane Community Centre from 10am until 1pm both today (Monday 20th May) and on Thursday 30th May.
Sue Vasey, CEO of Chain Lane Community Hub, said:
“We are working in partnership with CAB to provide drop in sessions for people who need advice.
“We have contacted all the people we are aware of but I feel there are still a few households who haven’t come forward.”
