Roadworks on a section of Leeds Road will be completed by the end of tomorrow (Wednesday), Northern Gas has confirmed.
The St George's roundabout on Leeds Road was closed last Wednesday due to a gas leak.
The closure has been in place to allow Northern Gas Network to locate and repair the issue.
And a network officer has confirmed the works are due to be completed tomorrow.
A fully signed diversion will remain in place until that time, using the A658, A661, York Place and returning to Leeds Road.
