Cold Bath Road is the latest road in Harrogate to be closed for electrical works.
It’s part of ongoing works by Northern Powergrid to future-proof the town’s electricity network.
The 7-day closure is in place at the junction of Valley Drive.
The works are expected to remain until 2nd June to allow Northern Powergrid to install ducting for Harrogate’s 33Kv electrical scheme.
Northern Powergrid is carrying out a programme of work with the aim of ensuring the local network in Harrogate has the capacity to support future demand.
The company, which is responsible for the network for eight million customers in the North, said Harrogate needs this investment as the demand on the town’s power network is predicted to increase significantly between now and 2050.
