CEO of Harrogate charity receives MBE at Buckingham Palace The CEO of a Harrogate-based charity has been awarded an MBE for 'services to people with Dementia.' Dementia Forward CEO Jill Quinn visited Buckingham Palace last week for her medal, presented by the Princess Royal. Jill made the trip with her family last Tuesday (13th June). A spokesperson for Dementia Forward said:
"Our CEO Jill Quinn headed to Buckingham Palace to receive her MBE for 'Services to People with Dementia', presented by the Princess Royal. "Jill was joined by her dad Stephen and sons Scott and Ross, who were as proud as punch - as are all of us at Dementia Forward."The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) rewards contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service.
