A fundraising campaign to support a Harrogate girl who has been diagnosed with Leukemia is approaching £5,000.
9-year-old Eva Blower received her diagnosis in January and is currently undergoing 24 months of treatment.
A campaign was launched by Eva’s dad, Simon, to support Eva’s medical needs, including transport costs to hospital and extra care and support.
And the effort is also being supported Eva’s friends from Pannal Primary, who are hosting a dance-a-thon today (Friday).
The event will run from 3:30pm until 6:30pm at Pannal Village Hall and will be live-streamed on YouTube here.
Eva's friends Georgie, Tiffany, Freja and Cecily will be dancing for three hours straight to fundraise for their friend.

Cash donations can be made at the door or at Pannal Primary School.
Tiffany will also be cutting her hair for Little Princesses Trust at 4pm.
Simon Blower, Eva’s dad, said:
“With so many people keen to help, we’ve created this page to raise money to help best support Eva over the next 24 months of her treatment.
"The money raised will be used to support Eva’s medical needs, transport costs to hospital and extra care and support she may need at home.
"Any funds not used will be donated to Eva’s charity fund which will be used in time to support charities that have supported Eva and the family during treatment.”
Last week, Rocco Leek - another of Eva’s school friends - raised £3,700 for Candlelighters, one of Eva’s chosen charities, by running a mile every day during February.
