Appeal after electric bike stolen in Bilton

Appeal: This electric bike was stolen from Bilton in March.

Police are asking Harrogate residents to be on the lookout for an electric bike stolen from Bilton in Harrogate.

On Sunday 23rd March at around 3pm, a Surron electric bike with orange decals was stolen as part of a robbery from Scrubland on Bilton Lane and Nidderdale Greenway.

The bike is believed to still be within the Harrogate area.

The bike was stolen with a key, it does not hold a registration plate, but has a phone holder attached.

A police spokesperson said:

“Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for DC Julia Bottomley, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
