An annual Christmas carols concert has raised more than £20,000 for St Michael's Hospice.
The event was held at Rudding Park Hotel last night (Monday), hosted by Your Harrogate’s Nick Hancock.
The intimate carol service was led by Rev Alan Garrow, with the choir of St Peter’s Church providing the music, and included a special guest appearance from Yorkshire Vet Peter Wright.
This was followed by a three-course meal and a charity raffle.

The event is an annual collaboration between Rudding Park and St Michael’s Hospice.
A spokesperson for St Michael’s said:
“The hospice’s aim has always stayed constant - to support local families in any way we can and ensure that all our patients spend their last days in comfort and dignity.
“All of the money raised at this event will be invested in providing care for patients at the hospice, through hospice at home or via our wellbeing services for patients.”
