A fifth and final teacher in the Harrogate area has received a special end of term treat after being nominated by her pupils and their parents.
We teamed up with Harrogate BID to recognise five members of teaching staff that deserve a treat for their efforts throughout this academic year.
And after hundreds of nominations, the fifth and final teacher to receive a £50 Harrogate gift card is Miss Pickles at Bishop Monkton CE Primary School.
Your Harrogate’s Nick Hancock surprised Miss Pickles in the school’s reception area this morning (Thursday).
Miss Pickles said:
“I feel like crying! That’s amazing, thank you so much.
"The children are great, it’s almost like having a group of friends. We all have the best time together.
"They’re an amazing class - and I’m already getting tearful about them leaving."
