The Go Bright Fun Run, organised by Mind in Harrogate District, will take place on Sunday 19th July and is being supported by the National Trust.
The event forms part of the National Trust’s Summer of Play programme, which encourages families to spend time outdoors and enjoy activities together during the summer holidays.
Participants can run, jog or walk the 5km route, which takes in the grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, including parkland views, riverside paths and the abbey ruins.
The event is open to all ages and abilities, with people encouraged to wear bright colours and complete the course at their own pace.
Money raised from the event will support specialist mental health services for children and young people across the Harrogate district.
