Harrogate Town announce signing of 'powerful' striker

Rohan Vaughan has signed for Harrogate Town.

Harrogate Town have confirmed the signing of Rohan Vaughan, following a successful trial period with the club.

The 20-year-old forward has featured in all three of the club's pre-season fixtures so far and now signs a one-year deal, with the option of a further year.

Head of Player Recruitment Lloyd Kerry said:

“He’s a young, powerful centre forward and we like his attitude and potential.

“We see him as a forward who can be a real handful for defenders, but he’s played wing back in pre-season and has a great left foot.

“He’s a player we think can develop a lot here and will be looking to find a loan move to enable him to gain more first team experience.”

Vaughan started his career at Burnley before signing for QPR in 2024, while gaining valuable experience out on loan at Oxford City, Dundalk and Dartford.

At Dundalk, Rohan registered five goals in 11 games, helping his side to a league and cup double.

Rohan will wear the number 20 at Town and is available to sponsor by emailing Emilyelmes@harrogatetownafc.com.
