Who Framed the Easter Bunny? Join the Rescue Mission at RHS Garden Harlow Carr

Running between 28th March until 19th April, RHS Garden Harlow Carr invites families to enjoy an exciting, mystery-themed Easter trail. Hard-working detectives will be rewarded with delicious chocolate treats!

Between 28 March and 19 April, visit RHS Garden Harlow Carr to help save our favourite holiday friend, the Easter Bunny. The local Harrogate garden is hosting an interactive trail for families. Get ready to follow clues, think critically and explore the beautiful garden to save Easter and earn some delicious chocolate treats.

For £3 per child, you’ll receive a detective pack, designed for all age groups, that includes tasks such as colouring challenges, codes and puzzles. There is also the option to complete a simpler but exciting trail that allows even the youngest detectives to take part. Every successful detective will be rewarded with a sweet chocolate prize. This brand-new intergenerational challenge blends storytelling, mystery and Easter charm, promising families an engaging day out and long-lasting memories.

After the trail, visitors can explore the garden's new Wind in the Willows Garden to explore the garden alongside Mole, Ratty and Badger and chase down the mischievous Mr Toad. Children will learn the importance of nature, loyalty and friendship.

Easter is the perfect time to enjoy the garden. Taking place at the start of spring, the landscape is fresh and bursting with beautiful colours that bring the garden to life after the winter months. Covering 58 acres, Harlow Carr offers a variety of landscapes, from lakeside gardens to subtropical regions.

Entry prices vary: adults pay £17.80, or £13.25 if you pre-book online, with a further discount for visitors who don’t travel by car (£12.50). Children aged 5–16 cost £5, and children under 5 go free. RHS members are entitled to free entry with one adult or two children. The garden also offers discounted £1 tickets for visitors entitled to Universal Credit, Pension Credit or ESA.

If you get hungry during your Easter adventure, stop for a bite to eat at the Harrogate Arms Café, which serves seasonal food made with produce from the Kitchen Garden. Alternatively, visit Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms or Bettys Tea House for a seasonal meal or to treat yourself to one of their famous Fat Rascals.

Plan your Easter adventure and help solve the mystery before it’s too late.
