Saltmoore, the luxury wellness-led retreat on the North Yorkshire coast, has unveiled its latest experience: Wuthering Heights: Moors & Moonlight, a two-night escape inspired by Emily Brontë’s iconic novel and the dramatic Yorkshire landscapes featured in the latest Wuthering Heights film.
Designed as a slower, more immersive way to explore the region, the package combines coastal calm with a curated self-drive route through Brontë country, allowing guests to discover cinematic moorland scenery and historic villages at their own pace, before returning each evening to the restorative comfort of Saltmoore.
At the heart of the experience is a Wuthering Heights Filming Route Map, created exclusively for Saltmoore guests. The route has been carefully planned to be completed comfortably within a day, with time for walking, photography and a relaxed lunch stop along the way. Hunter wellington boots are provided for moorland and coastal walks, while guests seeking a more sustainable way to travel can opt for a Tesla Model Y self-drive, offering a quiet, petrol-free way to roam the countryside.
The Wuthering Heights: Moors & Moonlight package includes a two-night stay for two at Saltmoore House, daily breakfast, full access to The Sanctuary spa, and a 60-minute Wildsmith Skin treatment per guest. On the first evening, guests enjoy dinner in The Brasserie, followed by a fireside nightcap, setting the tone for a stay rooted in rest, landscape and atmosphere.
Day two is dedicated to the self-drive journey through Brontë country, guided by the bespoke map and designed to capture the scale, mood and romance of the Yorkshire moors. On the final morning, guests are encouraged to explore closer to home, with suggested moorland and beach walks along the coast before departure.
Set between the North Sea and the North York Moors, Saltmoore has become known for its quietly luxurious approach to hospitality, blending thoughtful design with a strong sense of place. Wuthering Heights: Moors & Moonlight reflects this philosophy, offering a contemporary take on literary tourism that feels unhurried, immersive and deeply connected to the landscape.
The package is available for midweek stays, subject to availability.
