New wellbeing sanctuary opens near Ripon

Neil and Allanah Bourne-Arton.

A new wellbeing centre focused on integrative therapies and community access is set to open in North Yorkshire this spring.

Flow Yorkshire, based in West Tanfield near Ripon, has been developed by Neil and Allanah Bourne-Arton following their family’s experiences with ADHD, autism and related health challenges.

The centre aims to provide support for individuals and families seeking alternative or complementary approaches to wellbeing.

Neil and Allanah say the project grew from their own search for effective support and a desire to make similar services more accessible to others.

They said:

“We remember what it felt like to be overwhelmed, exhausted and unsure where to turn.

“When we found approaches that truly helped our son and restored balance to our family, we knew we had to create a space where others could access that same support.”

Flow Yorkshire will offer a range of non-invasive therapies designed to support nervous system regulation, reduce inflammation and promote overall wellbeing.

These include neurosonic therapy, neuromodulation, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, red light therapy, audio visual entrainment, counselling and emotional freedom technique, alongside nutritional guidance, medicinal herbs and holistic life coaching.

The centre will also provide health screening and genetic testing services.

In addition to its core services, the organisation has established the Flow Foundation, which will use a proportion of income and fundraising to help subsidise treatment for individuals and families who may otherwise face financial barriers.

The launch comes as many people continue to experience long waiting times for support through statutory services, with the centre positioning itself as an additional option for those seeking timely help.

While primarily aimed at the local community, Flow Yorkshire will also offer remote consultations. Visitors travelling from outside the area will have access to nearby accommodation within walking distance of the centre.

Located in the North Yorkshire countryside, the new facility is expected to open its doors in spring 2026.
