Glampfest 2026 declared 'best yet' as hundreds attend festival weekend

Glampfest returned to Scotton earlier this month.

Glampfest 2026 has officially wrapped up — and organisers are calling it the biggest and best event in the festival’s history.

Held over the 8-10 May weekend in Scotton near Knaresborough, Glampfest once again brought together music lovers, families, campers, traders, performers, and local businesses for three unforgettable days of live music, entertainment, food, community spirit, and festival magic.

This year’s festival featured a number of standout moments that delighted crowds throughout the weekend.

One of the most talked-about performances came from 12-year-old drummer Nancy Tilley, fresh from Britain’s Got Talent, who delivered a truly mind-blowing set leaving festivalgoers inspired and amazed.

Crowds were also wowed by the spectacular African Acrobatics fire show, while the energetic Storytellers Street Band brought infectious atmosphere and entertainment around the festival site with their walkabout brass performances.

The 2026 “Down on the Farm” theme proved hugely popular, serving as a heartfelt nod to the hard-working farming community in the local area. Festivalgoers fully embraced the theme, with the fancy dress parade showcasing some fantastic creativity and effort from attendees of all ages.

Families especially enjoyed a range of interactive attractions throughout the weekend including visiting donkeys, parrots, a mini petting zoo, a rodeo bull duel, and the giant hay bale displays that quickly became a favourite feature across the site.

Despite some wet weather on Saturday, festival spirits remained firmly high, with attendees embracing the rain and continuing the celebrations in true Glampfest style.

Festival organisers have thanked everyone involved in making the event such a huge success, from attendees and artists to volunteers, traders, sponsors, and staff.

Sarah Martin, Glampfest Director, said:

“Every year we’re blown away by the support Glampfest receives, but 2026 really felt special.

“The atmosphere all weekend was incredible and we’re so proud of what was created together.

"Seeing so many people enjoying themselves, making memories, and supporting one another is exactly what Glampfest is all about.”

One of the standout successes of this year’s festival was the fundraising effort for official charity partner Dementia Disco, with festivalgoers raising an impressive £428.51 across the weekend with more to follow.

Organisers also praised official festival photographer Gareth Andrews Photography for capturing the spirit of the event perfectly through hundreds of stunning images now featured in the official Glampfest 2026 photo album.

As the dust settles on this year’s event, planning is already underway for Glampfest 2027 — which will mark the festival’s highly anticipated 10th anniversary celebration.

The next Glampfest will take place from 6–9 May 2027, with early bird tickets due to be released on 1st June 2026.
