Harrogate-based Yorkshire Loft Ladders have invested further into the growth of the business by securing a larger premises in Harrogate. The company, which supplies and fits loft ladders, loft hatches, boarding, lights and insulation across Yorkshire, have seen rapid growth over the last few years which has allowed them to secure a new site and invest in the future of the business. Speaking about the expansion and the growing demand for their services, Managing Director Martin Waite identified the increased number of people working from home and planning house renovations in the absence of holidays and other luxuries. Martin said:

"A lot of people have spent an awful lot of time at home in the last 18 months and they've probably found out that they've got an awful lot of stuff! "We moved into our previous building in February 2019 but to keep up with demand we’ve been adding more staff and vehicles – and obviously keeping more stock. "We've doubled in size - the warehouse space is an awful lot bigger, we have two offices and we have a lovely big yard so we can't get in anyone's way!"

He added:
"The loft is another third of your flooring space, so what we do here at Yorkshire Loft Ladders is we board off so they can be used for storage, put ladders in for access, lighting and change hatches."
