Coppice Valley Primary School have revealed their Christmas light switch on will be available to watch live via Your Harrogate's Facebook!

Coppice Valley Primary School have announced the time and date of their Christmas light switch on - which will be available to watch live via the Your Harrogate Facebook page! Tune in from 5:30pm tomorrow (Thursday 3rd December) as our own Nick Hancock will switch on the lights at the Harrogate school. And there's a few whispers that a special guest from the North Pole might be making an appearance... https://twitter.com/Coppice_Valley/status/1333879457698951169 Don't worry if you're unable to watch the live switch on, as the video will be available on both the Your Harrogate and Coppice Valley Facebook pages after the event. Headteacher Emma Meadus said via the school's website:

"We hope that the display brings a bit of joy to the children, families and our local community in what has been a very tough year. "If you enjoy the display and want to "pay it forward" this Christmas, you might like to donate to a JustGiving page I have made to collect donations. "Half will go to school towards a new playground shelter and half for our friends at Horticap who built our community garden and have struggled to stay open in lockdown."
The school have also expressed their gratitude to Lights4Fun, who donated all the Christmas lights, Paul Walsh Electrical and EPS Electrical and Plumbing Supplies for materials and labour, Ark Signs and Digital for the window displays, Holberry Signs for the fence banner and Fir Tree Farm at Dacre Banks for their Christmas tree! Tune in tomorrow evening at 5:30pm on the Your Harrogate Facebook page to watch the switch on. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
