Berwins Salon North is returning virtually tomorrow (Thursday 28th January) The event is presented by Harrogate International Festivals with four 'world-class' speakers Viewers can tune in via the HIF Player from 7:30pm Three different though highly relevant subjects will come under the spotlight tomorrow (Thursday 28th January) when the North’s ‘go-to cultural series’ fires up for 2021. Being delivered digitally by Harrogate International Festivals, Berwins Salon North will feature four world-class speakers, whose 30-minute slots are designed to make the audience sit up, take notice and even question their own lifestyles... Beaming in to join host Helen Bagnall will be British philosopher, journalist and author Julian Baggini, who will focus on A Short History of Truth. Psychologists Prof James Danckert and John Eastwood will examine ‘The Psychology of Boredom’, whilst freelance journalist Lauren Bravo will champion the cause for ‘How To Break Up With Fast Fashion’. Sponsored by Harrogate law firm, Berwins, and produced by Harrogate International Festivals, the online event will be streamed on the HIF player from Thursday 28th January.
