Storm Christoph: Flood warnings still in place across North Yorkshire

As expected, Storm Christoph raged on through the night and has left some areas of North Yorkshire with flood warnings this morning. Although the amber weather warning from Met Office ended at 6am this morning, Gov.uk has added more warnings for parts of the Harrogate district. Warnings remain in place for River Nidd at Knaresborough Caravan Park and Goldsborough, as well as for River Ure at Milby Island near Boroughbridge. https://twitter.com/EnvAgency/status/1351946341107310595 Bishop Monkton Beck and Swinney Beck also now have weather warnings in place, as well as large parts of York. The River Ouse was recorded at 4.2m this morning and still rising - expecting to peak around 5m later tonight. See a full list of weather warnings across the country from Environment Agency here.
