Promising Defender Williams Arrives at Town

Harrogate Town have confirmed the arrival of promising defender Jay Williams from Kettering Town as their third January signing.

Harrogate Town have confirmed the signing of promising defender Jay Williams from Kettering Town. The 20-year-old had been with The Poppies since November 2020 and impressed during his short spell in the National League North. Williams has become the third Town signing in as many days, joining William Hondermarck and Josh March at the club. [caption id="attachment_5190" align="alignnone" width="2560"] William Hondermarck and Josh March already joined Town this week.[/caption] The club's new arrival came through the ranks at Northampton, a club he spent seven years with having joined at the age of 13. Williams would make his professional debut for the Cobblers in September 2018 and go on to make 17 senior appearances for his first club.
