Police hunting for driver who failed to stop after collision in Harrogate

Police want to track down the driver of a car which failed to stop following at the scene of a collision in Harrogate last week.

Police want to track down the driver of a car which failed to stop following at the scene of a collision in Harrogate last week. It happened at around 7.40am on Wednesday 10th March, at the junction of Wetherby Road and Masham Close. A van signalled for a blue BMW to pull out of a junction, but the BMW then collided with a black Peugeot 206/207 (possibly a 2006-2010 model). The BMW driver pulled over at Eleanor Drive to wait for the Peugeot driver to exchange details, but the Peugeot driver left the scene. Now police want to know the registration of the Peugeot, and are also seeking any dash cam footage which people may have of the incident. If you can help, you can call police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Alastair Graham-Merrett.
