Palm Court Cafe rolling out 'Ready Meals' service during lockdown

Harrogate's Palm Court Cafe are moving to a contactless delivery service ahead of the second national lockdown.

Harrogate's Palm Court Cafe are moving to a contactless delivery service ahead of the second national lockdown. The cafe, who have been fully booked today on the last day before lockdown, will be offering a 'Ready Meal' delivery service, bringing a selection of homemade dishes directly to customer's doors. Having served up their usual selection of treats, the cafe will be cooking up a number of homemade dishes for their ready meals service, including Beef Lasagne, Lamb Moussaka and Potato Lyonnaise. [caption id="attachment_3004" align="aligncenter" width="960"] Palm Court Cafe will be delivering 'ready meals' when they shut for a second national lockdown.[/caption] Customers can call up by 6pm the night before for next day delivery, with only contactless payments accepted. The cafe can also leave the ready meals in a safe place to prevent human contact in the interest of being completely Covid-safe. Kathryn at Palm Court Cafe said:

"We're delivering Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the morning and everything is homemade on the premises. We're also providing heating and storing instructions for our customers."
Speaking about the second national lockdown, Kathryn added:
"I think it's quite sad for local businesses and it's going to very hard, but it's the right thing to do for people's safety at the end of the day. "We'd also like to thank our customers for all their support over the last four months, we wouldn't be here without it - it means the world to us."
