New images of how some Harrogate streets could be transformed under the Gateway project have been revealed.

New images of how some Harrogate streets could be transformed under the Gateway project have been revealed. The plans include proposals to partly or fully pedestrianise James Street and upgrade the One Arch underpass. It's all part of a £7.9 million scheme which is currently under public consultation. It aims to improve walking and cycling connections from the town centre to the railway and bus stations, reduce carbon emissions, and create a 'higher quality environment' in the town centre.
