Motorists set for eight-mile diversion as Leeds Road faces temporary closure

Roadworks on Leeds Road in Harrogate will begin next week with an eight-mile diversion in place to allow for carriageway repairs.

Roadworks on Leeds Road in Harrogate will begin next week with an eight-mile diversion in place. The road will be temporarily closed in the evenings for more than a month to allow for carriageway repairs, starting on Monday 29th March and lasting until April 30th excluding bank holidays. The closure will occur between 6:30pm and 11:30pm each evening between Princess Royal Way and Beech Avenue. https://twitter.com/harrogatebus/status/1375005114608537604?s=21 The eight-mile diversion will see motorists sent along the A658 John Metcalf Way and then onto Wetherby Road.
