Knaresborough Town Women AFC have launched a new Under 18’s team after back-to-back league triumphs.
The team, which was only established two years ago, has won consecutive league championship promotions.
The latest success was made official last weekend as the team beat Horsforth St. Margaret’s 2-1 to end the season as WRCWFL Division Two champions.
And to continue the long term development of the club, it will be launching a newly formed Under 18’s ladies side in partnership with grass root club Knaresborough Celtic JFC.
Manager Mike Bligh said:
“What an amazing journey we have been on so far with incredible people that make this a pleasure to be a part of.
“As the season has now drawn to a close we turn our attention to next year’s goals and what we’d like to achieve as a club.
“There is so much more to come for these incredible players.”
Those interested in the new Under 18’s team should contact Mike via Facebook for more details.
The club is also reaching out to businesses to sponsor/partner with the club ahead of the new season.
