Holocaust memorial service for Ripon, Bradford and Wakefield to stream live on YouTube

Cathedrals at Ripon, Bradford and Wakefield will be releasing a video on YouTube this evening to remember those who died in the Holocaust.

As part of Holocaust Memorial Day, cathedrals at Ripon, Bradford and Wakefield will be releasing a video on YouTube this evening (Wednesday 27th January) to remember those who died during the Holocaust and more recent genocides.

Every year, the victims and the families of the Holocaust are remembered with a series of events as a way to honour their memory, with the theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2021 being ‘be the light in the darkness’.

The video, which will be streamed from 7pm this evening, will feature Harrogate Borough Mayor Councillor Stuart Martin MBE and his wife April. It is usually a national event that brings together Holocaust survivors, their families, celebrities and members of the Royal Family to mark the day.
