Harrogate Town to welcome back supporters for 'test event'

Harrogate Town are set to welcome fans back to their Wetherby Road stadium for a 'test event' as they host Forest Green in League Two.

Harrogate Town are set to welcome fans back to their Wetherby Road stadium for a 'test event' as they host Forest Green Rovers in League Two. Although the club cannot allow supporters to fill the EnviroVent stadium, a select number of season ticket holders will be able to watch the team play live for the first time since their promotion to the Football League. The club have been sending e-tickets out to Season Ticket Deposit Holders over the last few days ahead of the fixture, as Town look to end a run of two consecutive defeats. "I'm buzzing for the fans to be back. It's been a long time and fans have had to be patient, but it’s going to be great to see them back within the ground and cheering us on - we can't wait! "It’s going to be weird walking out onto the pitch as I've kind of forgotten what it feels like in front of fans. Hopefully more can come back and fingers crossed it’s the start of getting back to normality."
The League Two clash will kick off at 3pm on Saturday 5th December at The EnviroVent Stadium. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
