Harrogate Town keeper James Belshaw to wear special Mother's Day gloves

This weekend Harrogate Town goalkeeper James Belshaw will be wearing a special pair of 'Mother's Day gloves' to raise money for charity.

This weekend Harrogate Town goalkeeper James Belshaw will be wearing a special pair of 'Mother's Day gloves' to raise money for charity. He'll don them for Saturday afternoon's League Two game away at Forest Green Rovers. They've been designed by the Asmir Begovic glove brand and similar pairs of gloves will also be worn this weekend by Asmir Begovic himself, who's a keeper for AFC Bournemouth, and six other goalies. The gloves will then be auctioned off to raise money for the Asmir Begovic Foundation and the Gingerbread charity. "They're going to be signed and auctioned off after the game so I'd encourage any Town fans to bid, it goes towards good charities. "I've bedded them in during training and given them a wash so they'll be drying out nicely ready for Saturday, and hopefully we can get a win to go with them!"
