Two Harrogate sisters and business owners have won a small business award from Dragon's Den star Theo Paphitis.
Lucy and Clare Bulmer, who own Luce and Bear, travelled to the ICC in Birmingham last Friday (21st February) to receive a Theo Paphitis ‘Small Business Sunday’ (SBS) award.
The prize includes a feature on the retail entrepreneur’s social media to his combined 800,000 Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram followers.
Clare and Lucy joined other small business owners from all over the UK at the event.
Clare said:
We had the best day! Theo Paphitis was an incredible host and his guest speakers were so inspirational.
"We learnt so much - from what to do when life gives you lemons, to the secret tips to becoming the next billionaire!"
She added:
“We are over the moon to receive this award and just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your support which has helped us get this far.”

Luce and Bear is a boutique lifestyle brand offering casual clothing, gifts and accessories.
Theo Paphitis, who is a small business champion, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome new SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK.
“My vision is that everyone who has ever won an SBS repost from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings.”
