Harrogate fish and chip shop offering free fish and chips for a year

Harrogate Fisheries are intent on making 2021 one to remember by giving one person free fish and chips for the whole year.

One Harrogate fish and chip shop are intent on making 2021 one to remember by giving one person free fish and chips for the whole year. Harrogate Fisheries on Skipton Road are running their biggest competition to date until Tuesday 22nd December, with the winner walking away with a year's supply of Britain's favourite takeaway! Sophie, Owner at Harrogate Fisheries, said:

"We're offering a free portion of fish and chips every month in 2021, just to give something back and also to give someone a treat and something to look forward to. "We are already a big part of the community and we always like to be there and give something back, and this is just something we'd like to do."
To enter the competition, just answer a simple question here, and you could be tucking into fish and chips throughout 2021 courtesy of Harrogate Fisheries. https://www.facebook.com/yourharrogate/posts/184793726671876 Sophie also spoke of the support Harrogate Fisheries are keen to provide within the local community, working with a local homeless charity and care homes across Bilton and giving them a weekly treat of fish and chips. She added:
"We've helped keep the Harrogate community fed during lockdown, and are fortunate enough to have able to stay open throughout all of this. "We know for so many people, it's something for them to look forward to them in this bleak time. It's also a bit of contact for the elderly people we deliver to, albeit distanced contact!"
Sophie joined us on the Your Harrogate Podcast to talk all things Harrogate Fisheries, including their huge prize and why they wanted to offer something for the community. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
