Harrogate Bar and Bistro partner up for festive night of music and food

A Harrogate bar and a town centre bistro are joining forces this Sunday 27th December for a night of socially-distanced food and live music.

An independent Harrogate bar and an independent town centre bistro are joining forces this Sunday (27th December) for a night of socially-distanced food and live music. Whilst The Den is hosting the event at its Cambridge Road premises, the food is being prepared by the kitchen brigade from The Fashion House Bistro, located on Swan Road. Doors to the ticket-only event - which are priced at £60 per couple - open at 6pm, with singer and pianist Dan Burnett, taking to the stage an hour later, to play selection of blues and soul classics. He is followed at 8.30pm by Biz Denton on vocals & guitar and Jason Odle of “Ont' Sofa” ont' drums, who will play two sets. The fixed menu consists of six taps dishes including Gambas Pil Pil, Arancini stuffed Risotto with Mozzerella and Parmesan and red wine-baked Chorizo. Rob Taylor from The Den said:

“We are really pleased to be teaming up with the Fashion House Bistro for this evening of food and live music. “The event is strictly limited to socially-distanced tables of two, and will provide a relaxed and enjoyable evening of post-Christmas entertainment. “2020 has been a very difficult year for everybody, and in particular for those in the hospitality trade. David and I are really looking forward to jointly hosting this event.”
David Dresser, owner of The Fashion House Bistro, said:
“We've taken a conscious decision to keep The Fashion House Bistro closed during Tier 2, but when Rob contacted me asking if we would be interested in helping him out, we jumped at the chance. “The kitchen brigade are relishing the opportunity of preparing their dishes for Rob’s customers, and we've also got a number of our front of house team to be on hand to look after the guests.”
The bar closes at 10pm with the evening finishing at 10.30pm. Follow this link to book. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
