Harrogate Operatic Players are inviting audiences to tune in to their script read-through of 'Cinderella' tonight (Tuesday 26th January).

An amateur dramatic group in Harrogate are inviting audiences to tune in to their script read-through of 'Cinderella' tonight (Tuesday 26th January). Harrogate Operatic Players, affectionately known as 'HOPS', have been holding 'Virtual Tuesdays' every week to replace rehearsal night, with a handful of members grouping together to host an activity via Zoom. And this week the group are inviting people to watch their virtual read-through of Cinderella, written by Clive Kirkham, in what promises to be an entertaining evening! The performance starts at 7:30pm and is restricted to people over the age of 18 due to adult humour. https://twitter.com/HgateOperatics/status/1353768988589883392?s=20 'HOPs' Founded in 1924 and based in Harrogate, Harrogate Operatic Players (HOPs) are an amateur dramatics group, performing shows every year to audiences around the area. The group have been behind performances such as Sister Act, Annie, Betty Blue Eyes and Top Hat in recent years, with their latest show being My Fair Lady in June 2019. HOPs were due to put on a performance of 'KIPPS! The New Half a Sixpence' in May 2020, however were forced to cancel due to the pandemic.
