The Northern Lights wowed people across Harrogate by lighting up the night sky in vivid green, magenta and blue over the weekend.
The lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, were seen across the area on Friday night (11th May).
The phenomenon was caused by the first extreme geomagnetic storm since 2003.
Aurora Borealis is caused by the interaction of solar wind, a stream of particles escaping the Sun, and Earth's atmosphere.
