A community-minded cafe in Starbeck is back offering free packed lunches to those in need this half term.
The Living Room is once again bringing back its Packed Lunch Project in which families are provided with nutritious lunches, alongside hot meal packs and breakfast.
The scheme fed over 200 families during last year’s Easter holidays and again aims to help those who may be struggling financially.
It will run on Tuesday 18th February, with collection available between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

The project is being organised by cafe Manager Sarah Khanye.
She said:
“It all came out of a midnight idea to help - if we can - just for one day to ease the pressure off a family, couple or individual by providing them with a free lunch.
“There is no criteria to meet, just sign up using the link and tell us about any allergies then come and collect your packed lunch.”
The free lunch typically contains a sandwich alongside snacks including crisps, yogurts and a biscuit.
Anyone who would be interested in taking advantage of the free meals is asked to register here.
