Coronavirus: More than half of eligible Harrogate residents receive booster jab

More than half of residents in the Harrogate district that are eligible to receive the covid booster vaccination have had their jab.

More than half of residents in the Harrogate district that are eligible to receive the covid booster vaccination have had their jab. Latest government data has revealed that 53.9% of over 12's have received the booster vaccination. This equates to 83,790 people. The figures also reveal that 134,477 residents have had their first dose of the vaccine, whilst 124,561 have had their second. The rate of infection in Harrogate stands at 367 per 100,000 people - just below the average for North Yorkshire which is 370.
