Conservative MP and author of 'The Levelling up our Communities report' Danny Kruger is set to be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Two Ridings Community Foundation webinar. The webinar, which is titled "Are we on the cusp on an emerging world?", will take place on Thursday 25th March and will see Danny join local panelists to discuss the changing role of philanthropy. Danny will be joined by Liz Wild from McInroy & Wood Ltd, Alex Boyle from Insite Property Solutions and Bruce Warnes from the Shears Foundation. Other panellists include Jeremy Williamson from Veterans Woodcraft and Jan Garrill CEO of Two Ridings. Danny Kruger MP said:

“I'm greatly looking forward to discussing philanthropy and its role on the ‘new world’ that is opening up, with all its threats and opportunities. This is the right time for this discussion and Two Ridings Community Foundation are ideally placed to host it."
Jan Garrill, CEO of Two Ridings, said:
"The changes we have seen in the last year show that people are recognising that philanthropy and giving are never more needed and is also very different to traditional perceptions of philanthropy, often associated with billionaires. "In 2020, thanks to people like Captain Tom and initiatives like the National Emergencies Trust, philanthropy came of age. I look forward to the views from Danny and the local panellists about the longer-term changes."
