Police have released CCTV images of a man after graffiti caused "considerable damage" at Fountains Abbey.
The incident took place at 11.30pm on Sunday 16th February when graffiti was painted onto the grade 1 listed site near Ripon.
Police launched an appeal on Tuesday (18th February) for anyone to come forward with information regarding the incident.

They are now asking for the public's help in identifying the man in the photos.
A police spokesperson said:
“Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.
