New roadworks are set to start on Ripon Road later this week, causing 6 weeks of disruption.
The works will start between Kent Road and Jennyfield Drive on Sunday evening (23rd February).
The road will be closed with a diversion in place.
The works, which are being carried out by Northern Powergrid, are expected to be completed on 11th April.
Changes to bus services
The roadworks will have an effect on services operated by The Harrogate Bus Company.
The 36 bus from Harrogate to Ripon or Leeds, The 4 bus from Harrogate to King Edwin Park and the 3 bus from Harrogate to Jennyfield will be diverted along Kings Road and Skipton Road.
The 2 bus from Harrogate to Bilton will run with a temporary timetable.
