Luckily, the UK supermarkets have pulled it out the bag and are providing us with restaurant quality menus that won’t break the bank.

Best ValueMorrisons: The Best Dine in Meal for Two, £15
This bundle has something to please everyone. For meat eaters, highlights include mussels in a rich chorizo broth and a luxury beef wellington.
There’s a tear and share camembert for the veggies and even individual vegan salted caramel puddings with glittery chocolate sauce on offer.
To top it all off, Morrisons have thrown in a bottle of their brand new rosé prosecco!

This bundle comes with a box of chocolates as well as a bottle of wine or prosecco, which is why it is a tad pricier but the quality definitely makes up for it.

If you’re not bothered about starters and sides, the Sainsbury’s plant-based main, dessert and bottle of fizz is only £10. Including a nut roast and a luxurious chocolate dessert.
For the meat eaters, their taste the difference range offers a delicious creamy scallop gratin followed by a sirloin steak which will come in at under £20.
