We’re giving away a pair of tickets to see Harrogate Dramatic Society’s production of Jerusalem at Harrogate Theatre on Saturday 17th October.

Jez Butterworth’s acclaimed play follows Johnny Byron, a larger-than-life figure living in a Wiltshire wood. As the authorities prepare to evict him, his son wants a trip to the country fair and a stepfather wants a fight.

Funny, vivid and unpredictable, Jerusalem asks who gets to decide how the countryside should be used – and whether there’s still room for people who refuse to follow the rules...

• The play is for adults only.
• One will be selected and contacted every day (Monday 21st-25th September 2026).
• No purchase necessary.
• One prize per person/household.
• Winners of all competitions must sign a release form acknowledging that they have read and understood the contest rules and that they are eligible under the contest rules to receive the prize.
• Employees of Your Harrogate, Your Media Group, all organisations providing prizes, their participating sponsors, their agencies, and their immediate families are ineligible to participate.
• Your Harrogate reserves the right to disqualify any contestant if competition rules are not followed, the contestant is found ineligible, or the contestant has engaged in fraudulent behaviour.
• Only the prize on offer is available, Your Harrogate will not offer any cash alternatives.
• Your Harrogate competitions will usually have a closing date after which a winner will be announced.
• All contestants acknowledge as a condition of entry that Your Harrogate, all organisations providing the prize, and their participating sponsors have the right to publicise and broadcast his/her name online and on social media platforms.
• In the event of any dispute, the Content Director’s decision is final.
• All prizes are non-transferable for other prizes or to other persons, and not redeemable for cash. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
• One entry per person will be allowed unless otherwise stated.
• Information collected by Your Harrogate in connection with entering or participating in any contest may be shared with sponsors of a particular contest in accordance with our privacy policy.
• Winners must be over the age of 18.
• Winners will be notified by phone call and will have 24 hours to claim their prize. After this time, if not claimed, we will select a runner up.
• Entries close at 4pm on Friday 25th September 2026.
