Children in Ripon are invited to a day of festive fun this half term with a range of Easter activities at Specsavers.
The team has decided to run its kids' clinics again this half term, building on their success from last year.
The clinics will take place on Monday, 30th March and Wednesday 8th April.
Visitors can expect to be welcomed with a selection of egg-citing fun and games, including a festive colouring station where they can bring their favourite spring characters to life while waiting to be seen by the optician.
After their eye test, each child will be given a chocolate egg to celebrate the festive season.
Annette Duffy, retail director at Specsavers Ripon, says:
‘We’re excited to welcome families across Ripon to our kids' clinics this half-term.
"We understand that visiting the opticians can be daunting and hope that our festive activities create a comfortable environment where children feel comfortable chatting about their vision."
Alongside the kids' clinic, the store is also one of the businesses taking part in the Ripon BID Easter Egg Hunt, which runs until 5th April.
Kids can pick up a trail map in-store and set off on a fun-filled hunt to discover eggs throughout the town.
This Easter, the store is excited to announce that they’ll be displaying a highly anticipated creation by Ripon’s knitters, whom the store has sponsored for years.
Their project ‘Easter Bunnies, Bonnets & Flowers’ will feature a herd of hand-knit rabbits, bonnets, and flowers from the 30 volunteers who meet every Monday to natter and knit.
Annette continues:
"We’re also looking forward to showcasing the incredible work of the Ripon knitters again this year.
"Their creations bring joy to customers and employees alike, with many visitors dropping by to admire the volunteers' amazing work."
