A new wellbeing centre near Ripon is inviting local families to enjoy a free afternoon of fun while supporting a good cause.
FLOW Yorkshire, based at Tanfield House in West Tanfield, is hosting a Summer Family Fun Day on Saturday 8th August from 2pm until 5pm in support of the newly launched Flow Foundation.
The free event will feature a range of activities for all ages, including pony rides, face painting, circus skills, inflatables, cookery sessions, games, live entertainment and refreshments.
While entry is free, visitors are encouraged to make a donation to the Flow Foundation, which helps make wellbeing services more accessible to families facing challenges such as ADHD, autism, anxiety and depression.
FLOW Yorkshire opened earlier this year as a community wellbeing centre offering therapies, workshops and support for children, adults and families.
Organisers say the family fun day is a chance for people to explore the centre, meet the team and learn more about its work, while enjoying an afternoon of entertainment in the grounds of Tanfield House.
The event takes place on Saturday 8th August between 2pm and 5pm, with all donations going towards the Flow Foundation's work supporting local families.
