Carefound Home Care in Harrogate's annual review has revealed 100% client satisfaction and a 12% reduction in hospital admissions.
The home care company has published results of its latest annual review to help raise awareness of home care and evidence how outcomes for older people can be improved.
The review shows how preventing falls, managing medicines, and identifying signs of infection early contributed to an impressive 12% reduction in hospitalisations amongst clients last year.
Only 7% of clients were readmitted to hospital within 28 days, compared to the national average of 18% for people aged 75 years and over.
All clients, their families, and care professionals were also invited to take part in anonymous surveys as part of the review.
100% of clients said they were satisfied with their care service which was exceptional. 92% said the service improved their quality of life, and 98% would recommend Carefound Home Care.
