Your Media Group has confirmed the appointment of two new directors as part of a management restructure.
After acquiring the majority shareholding, Adam Daniel has been appointed as the radio group's new Managing Director.
And the business, which operates radio stations in Harrogate, Ilkley and Skipton, has appointed Ben Groom as Content Director and James Landes as Commercial Director.
Ben and James will also join the Your Media Group board of directors, having also acquired shares within the company.
Ben has worked at Your Harrogate for five years, helping to grow the business while managing digital content and social media platforms.
He has also played a key role in developing Your Ilkley and Your Skipton following their acquisition by Your Media Group in 2023.
Ben worked at Stray FM before taking on the role of Content Manager at Your Harrogate in September 2020.
He said:
“We have an amazing team at Your Media Group, both on and off air, and I’m honoured to take on this new role to help keep us moving forward.
“It’s been a brilliant five years and seeing how the group has grown in such a short period of time has been extraordinary.”
Managing Director Adam Daniel said:
"I am thrilled that Ben is stepping up into his new role as Content Director.
"Ben has been on this journey from the very beginning and this is truly well deserved.
"He has been instrumental in driving the growth of our audience, not only on-air but also online."
James Landes will also be stepping into a director role, having been Sales Manager at Your Harrogate for nearly four years.
He previously worked as a Media Sales Consultant at both Stray FM and Bauer Media.
He said:
"It’s great to work with a fantastic team, brilliant presenters and amazing local businesses.
“It's also a really exciting time for the business and I can't wait to get cracking on this new chapter."
Adam said:
"James stepping up into his role of Commercial Director couldn’t be better timed.
"Coming off the back of 3 record revenue months James has really shown his ability to not only lead, but drive revenue within the group.
