Your Harrogate will again take to the skies above the Harrogate district to provide travel news for the Great Yorkshire Show.
Your Harrogate to provide Great Yorkshire Show travel information from the sky Your Harrogate will return to the skies above the Harrogate district to provide travel news for the Great Yorkshire Show. The 164th show, which is now completely sold out, takes place next week. It will run from Tuesday 11th until Friday 14th July. And thanks to Helijet Aviation, we'll be flying above the showground to provide the latest on the roads every morning after 8am. "We're so excited to bring our listeners and social media followers all the latest travel news from the skies above the Great Yorkshire Show. "The sheer volume of traffic that can be seen heading towards the Showground is always quite the sight, but also shows the scale of what is one of the biggest events in the calendar."In previous years, Wetherby Road (A661) has been one-way from the Kestrel Roundabout towards the Showground. There has also been closures on Rudding Lane and Forest Lane, whilst cars may be prevented from waiting on Hookstone Wood Road, Hookstone Oval and Woodlands Green. Junction 47 of the A1(M) is also a busy spot during the week of the show. Tune in to Your Harrogate's Great Yorkshire Show travel news both on DAB and on our Facebook page.
